  This event will be using the steel, 25, 50 and 100 yard outdoor ranges.
  

  Registration link can be found under the Action Pistol section of the website.

  We will be sending out the courses prior to the event to anyone that registers.

  The Action Pistol Shoots will be open to anyone who is interested in simulated “real world” courses of fire which will combine speed and accuracy, while shooting at multiple targets of steel and cardboard/paper. Shooters will be scored using a points down system which is based on a combination of speed and accuracy in completing the course(s). The intent is for people to compete against themselves as well as others (for bragging rights) in a stress-free controlled environment. The shoots will be open to .22 and larger semi-automatic pistols or revolvers (.22 may not knock over steel). 

  We will have up to 4 courses of fire set up for this shoot. We will be on the steel, 100-yard, 50-yard and 25-yard ranges. Each shooter will run each course once.

  Required equipment:

  1. Eye and ear protection for all shooters and spectators.
  2. Outside the waistband belt holster* (shoulder holsters are not allowed).
  3. Three magazines or multiple speed loaders (figure 18-30 rounds per course). Loading of loose rounds during a course of fire will not be allowed.
  4. Approximately 100 rounds of ammo (depending on number of courses, more ammo is always better). 

  Registration will be from 11:15-11:45, there will be a mandatory meeting to go over safety and rules of the event at 11:50. Shooting will begin at noon.

  If you are not in attendance for the meeting you will not be eligible to participate. Please check in at the registration table and then head to the safe table with your pistol in your bag or carry box. Please do not arrive with your pistol holstered or holster in the parking lot. An RSO will check that your pistol is clear at the safe table and give the go ahead to holster at that time.  

  Entry fee will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members (non-members must fill out and sign a waiver or have previously filled out a waiver and provide the waiver number).

  ***ENTRY FEE IS WAIVED FOR THE FIRST 10 VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH SET UP***
