Action Pistol Shoot

GHH Action Pistol Information

Starting in April and taking place the 3^rd Sunday of the month (weather permitting), we will be running Action Pistol Shoots at the outdoor ranges.

Action Pistol Shoots will be open to anyone who is interested in simulated “real world” courses of fire, which combine speed and accuracy while shooting at multiple targets of steel and cardboard/paper. The event will score shooters based on their speed and accuracy in completing the course(s). The intent is for people to compete against themselves as well as others (for bragging rights) in a stress-free controlled environment.

Registration: Registration is required, no walk-ons allowed.

Entry Fee:

$10 for members of Guan Ho Ha, $15 for non-members. Non-members must sign a waiver or have a number from a previous waiver.

***ENTRY FEE IS DISCOUNTED FOR THE FIRST 10 VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH SET UP*** 

Required Equipment:

• Eye and year protection for all shooters and spectators.
• Revolvers and Semi-automatic 380 or larger.
• Outside the waistband holster. See approved holsters here.
• At least 3 magazines or multiple speed loaders. Plan for 24 to 30 rounds per course of fire. No loading of loose rounds allowed during course of fire while at the firing line.
• Approximately 100 rounds of ammo (depending on the number of courses. More ammo is better). 

Schedule:

• Event setup will start at 8am. 
  
• Registration 11:15am – 11:45am
• Mandatory safety meeting 11:50am. You MUST be present for the safety meeting to participate in the shoot
• Shooting will begin at 12:00pm
